Your privacy matters.
RemotelyFixed is operated by Agence Web Wibyo. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our website or request remote computer support.
Information you provide
We store the account name and email address you provide, a securely hashed password, repair descriptions, availability, messages, contact inquiries, and repair status history. Please do not include passwords, payment card details, or unnecessary sensitive information in messages.
Payment information
Payments are entered into Moneris’s hosted checkout and processed by Moneris. Our application does not collect or store full card numbers or security codes. We retain payment identifiers, amounts, approval information, and transaction status to match payments to repairs and provide records.
Remote support
Our Support for Windows app shares your main display only after you approve a technician’s request. You choose screen viewing or screen and keyboard control. Visible documents and notifications are included; close unrelated private information before connecting. Session screen data and control input are encrypted between the apps and relayed through our server over HTTPS. Choose Stop sharing or close the app to end access. If you instead use a third-party session link, that provider’s privacy terms also apply. Learn about the app and how to remove it.
Optional AI assistance
If you separately enable AI assistance when approving screen and keyboard control, and it is used during your session, the app sends screenshots and the repair task to OpenAI to propose actions. A proposed step that includes clicks, double-clicks, typing, key presses, or dragging requires your approval before it runs. Pointer movement, scrolling, waiting, and screenshots can occur without another approval. Decline a proposed step or stop sharing to end AI assistance. Leave AI assistance disabled if you do not want your screen information sent to OpenAI.
Saved sign-in on Windows
If you choose Remember me in the Windows app, your email address, sign-in token, and expiry information are saved on that computer using Windows protection for your current Windows user. The token is valid for up to 30 days. Signing out removes the local saved sign-in; server revocation is attempted and can fail if the server cannot be reached.
Local diagnostic files
The Windows app can write connection and error diagnostics under your Windows user profile. These may include timestamps, operation names, HTTP status codes, exception types, and exception details such as file paths. The app resets earlier log contents based on file size when writing new entries, rather than on a fixed deletion schedule.
How we use information
We use your information to provide and manage repairs, communicate with you, maintain transaction records, prevent misuse, and respond to your requests. We do not sell your personal information. The site uses a necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and protect requests. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve them.
Relay buffers and service records
Our relay temporarily buffers encrypted screen frames and control commands. Buffered payloads are cleared when the relay processes a session end, or when inactive-buffer cleanup runs during later traffic or maintenance. This is not a guaranteed deletion schedule. Repair messages and session events, including remote-support approvals, session endings, and AI-consent events, are retained separately as service records.
Storage and access
Authorized support staff can access information needed to assist you. We keep service and transaction records for operational needs and applicable recordkeeping requirements, then remove or anonymize information that is no longer needed. Payment providers, hosting providers, and remote support providers may process information to supply their services.
Removing the Windows app
The website download is portable: close the app and delete Support.exe to remove it. If you installed the app through Microsoft Store, open Windows Settings > Apps, select RemotelyFixed Support, and choose Uninstall. Sign out first if you used Remember me. Removing the app does not delete your website account or our service records.
Contact and requests
To ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion, contact our support team. We may need to verify account ownership. Some transaction records may need to be retained even when an account is closed.
